We have temporarily removed the openSUSE images from the Windows Azure gallery as we are updating the image. New images will be available in early January 2013.
SUSE Linux Enterprise Server images are unaffected.

really? I loved that option it was the only image i downloaded...not the iso since it requires to burn to usb or cd...The Azure was easy i could just connect the vhd to my windows computer it worked fine!
ReplyDeletesory! well Promethium OS (and your others) will have to wait. try the disk image format.
ReplyDelete@Omar The VHD format still is available. If you want to run this locally on your Windows box this should work fine. It's only the openSUSE 12.2 based Azure image for running in the public cloud, which will be unavailable for a short time.
ReplyDeleteAny news?
ReplyDeleteAny news? We are in mid February and I can't even find the option to build a SUSE Studio image directly to my Azure storage account.
ReplyDeleteThere were some delays regarding the availability of openSUSE images in Azure, but expect them to be available in Azure end of February/beginning of March.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the option to upload images to Azure directly, one need to enable this feature manually as it's still a beta feature. This can be done in the user settings tab.
openSUSE 12.3 is on Azure now:
